September Challenge - Candy

Post by mudbugcandy »

Since I rarely play anything solo, I thought I'd submit my efforts of 'Volume Control' during a performance we (The Mudbugs) had on Tues, Sept 13th. I lower my volume when Ken is singing and then power it up when it's my time to solo. In this video we are playing the song 'Roadrunner' at the Joshua Tree Saloon, in Joshua Tree, California.

That's so much fun. Great job. Definitely a skill to back off like that when there is vocals (or other instruments soloing).

Candy, this is so fantastic - it gives me the creeps! You are wonderful in accompanying the singer and at the same time your play is something special and on its own.

Nice melding with the vocals, without overpowering, but supporting the voice!

Candy,

Wow, I wish I had a group - it would seem that you don't need much help learning. It's great. The only band members I can get are a few dear and group of coyotes out here.

Excellent job,

Thanks,

Douglas
