East Coast / Irish / Celtic Accordion Songs

3 Lessons

Like other musical styles, Irish / Celtic / East-Coast Canadian songs have two or three chord progressions that appear over and over again. Once you learn these chord progressions you’ll start seeing them in every Irish song.
These songs may seem easy at first – just two or three chords at most – but their rapid tempo makes them difficult to perform smoothly. Use a backing track and practice your scales, chord inversions, and quick left hand chord changes to pull off these songs.
